This year, the theme of Family Week is cooperation! Working and playing together, we will build temples, serve in the garden, enjoy team sports, create theatre presentations, and much more: experiencing the value of cooperation as a way of achieving inner joy. Cooperation is a major part of the curriculum of the Education for Life school system; it encourages individual growth through harmonious relationships and develops maturity, which is born of the ability to relate to other peoples’ realities. During this week, children will be encouraged to develop skills and attitudes necessary for building relationships based on respect, flexibility, and empathy. New this year: some of the children’s activities will be guided by students of the Assisi Living Wisdom School, the first school in Europe based on Education for Life.
