Special Events with Swami Kriyananda

Ananda’s founder, Swami Kriyananda, spent twenty-five years in residence at Ananda World Brotherhood Village, before moving to Ananda Europa in 1996. Seven years later he moved to India to start a new work in the country of Paramhansa Yogananda’s birth. But he has always maintained his connection with all of the Ananda centers, and comes each year to Italy to share his latest inspirations and writings with his friends, old and new.
This year Kriyananda will be here from May until late June, if his health permits him to travel. Before going on to California, he will participant is these events, in Assisi, Rome and Milan. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see him.

Shortly after its publication, the youth Donald Walters (now Swami Kriyananda) read The Autobiography of a Yogi and immediately went to meet Yogananda in California and became his disciple. The transforming power of this book has since touched generations of spiritual seekers, and is considered the greatest spiritual classic of our times.
Swami Kriyananda returns from India in May especially to present the Italian edition of this extraordinary book. This edition faithfully represents the complete, unedited original book of 1946, in a translation which is as elegant and poetic as the English.
